Does it work with private or paywalled videos?
Links work for public videos. Anything private, behind a login or a paywall will not download, and that is by design. For those, use the file route: save or export the video yourself, then drop the file in. It never leaves your computer.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes. VideoDoc runs on Windows 10/11 and on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer; Intel Macs are not supported), with all processing on your own hardware. On a Mac the very first launch has a one-time 10 second unlock step, with a copy-button guide at videostodoc.com/mac.
